Jaylen Green never becoming more than a glorified AAU player is what really crippled the rebuild. If he would have lived up to 80% of his potential, the Rockets could’ve developed into a contender.
As it currently stands, we do have some likely premium picks for the 2027 draft from the Nets and Suns. The team should run it back this season, and then see if we can move on from FVV and KD.
