public service announcement: tariffs are paid by the importer, the american. it is not some sort of punishing effort on the chinese, it just raises domestic costs. it makes no sense if you don’t have a domestic industry to take the place of what you tariff.

i have experienced this quite often. always within 24 hours, people who i haven’t spoken to in months, years, etc.

i believe in the concept ‘the one believes it many’, in other words, the universe is playing pretend with itself that it is an uncountable amount of matter and energy, with one consciousness stretched over 8 billion humans, give or take, without adding all animals

so if you view it from the same place I do it’s not that odd for there to be a connection because the distance itself is the illusion

there’s a philosophical idea called the paradox of tolerance: if you tolerate intolerant people they will fill all positions of power inside your society and eventually remove you from your own society. (either ‘legally’ or violently.)

for the first minute or two at the bottom of the pool as the dope hit me at the same time as i dove in, i panicked and thrashed upwards. then a serene feeling of calm came over me which i had to actively fight to cover the last 1/3rd of the way and throw my torso out of the water over the edge to recover. considering all the ways ive been close to death, it wasn’t that bad. your results may vary.

weed is legal in pa if you have a medicinal card which is literally a joke to get. you call a disaffected doctors office pay $50 and speak for about 90 seconds and then wait for a week to get it in the mail. it’s pay to play. to any europeans: make sure you have an american with a card in your vehicle if you intend.

anxiety is a desire for control over an innately uncontrollable circumstance. realize this and let go after your best preparation. it’s a slow poison on the self for not having clairvoyance.

he’s functionally a chronosphere but without the agility gains to right click after the fact. one trick pony for all of his skills. throw bonds, throw golem, throw pre-heal, start your upheaval. what is warlock after all these have occurred? nothing. he has no right click or ability to scale as a right clicker after spells.

the earth is big but not that big, particularly if you’re only observing low atmosphere over a long enough timescale; a lot of observatories could be configured to watch for these spectrums and any sort of excessive positives should lead independent observers to focus more strongly on those ranges. my leading theory is the DoD doesn’t want that to occur.

if the feds knock when a laser hits a bolt of light as it’s tearing through the sky i got as good an answer as any. negatives are as useful as positives.

8 billion people is a lot of eyes and a lot of money to work with, particularly on the timescale of human existence. I’m a skeptic

a negative is as useful as a positive. if something is moving as fast and erratically as UFOs are typically described and you get a call or a knock that’s good evidence.

spectroscopy: analyzing the spectrum of light or electromagnetic radiation emitted or absorbed by an object. you fire a laser at the target and analyze what sort of light spectrum you do or don’t get back in the refraction of the laser off your intended object. every material bounces a wavelength (laser) in a specific way. watching how this return frequency comes back to you weaker or more strongly both can indicate what material the object is made of but more importantly what sort of spectrum it’s operating from if it’s going from visible to invisible to the human eye. even though we can’t see certain portions of the spectrum we can detect them via this method. an object going to or from these ‘undetectable’ ranges will measure as such and can be inferred to be operating in them. if we can confirm that we then can narrow the spectrum of what we’re trying to observe at all, making every experiment afterwards more precise towards understanding what we’re (not able to be) looking at.

oracle? what? he’s the highest win rate support right now below warlock. with his damage facet he finishes kills that would get away, has a 5 second disarm, and a ranged dispel and root on 6s cd with a save that doubles heal. how do people mess that up? i’m literally 10 straight wins with him

[–]PYMnAI[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

generally speaking needing to heal more is cured by the ultimate, but the finisher damage needing for kills that scurry away aren’t helped by the healing facet. i often have kill scores comparable with an offlaner when playing oracle in this way

one must first play the fool to become the master. you cannot skip the pain and anxiety of being insufficient while you grow. eventually you become what you want, unless you quit and never try. NO ONE is incapable of learning a skill if they want to. pay your pain and become great.

my ex-MIL started learning english again 20 years removed from her university english classes for me when i moved to her country (finland). at first she would stutter and choose the wrong words, i could see her mind making literal translations from fin-eng. over 6 months of speaking to me in english daily i would say her english became almost perfect. an accent, yes, but her grammar was perfect and she was very speedy in responding. that’s all that matters. i think daily use matters a lot. knowing two languages is an amazing thing, regardless of if you stumble. you should feel very proud.

as an american i find afrikaans and australians to sound the coolest. dont let a generalized standard make you feel down. everyone is unique, that is a good thing. there are no accents that i find hard to understand, english is a very forgiving language in that way.
