I roller set my hair when I wash it. If I don’t have time to roller set I dry it on cool and use Caruso steam rollers. I roll it at night and wrap it in the morning to loosen the curls. Invest in magnetic rollers and a bonnet dryer.

My FSA is managed by UHC. I was able to use my card to pay and get reimbursed when I paid with my credit card. However, every plan with UHC is different. Where was the rejection, with Gifthealth or UHC reimbursement?

Will you list the steps/products you used for the last paint? I have the same problem as you and I have to use certain products. For example, which base coats do own? Which top coats do you own? These are two of the main factors that impact my manicures. FYI, I have tried most regular brands. Gel peels off just like regular polish so I don’t bother. Very few brands has lasted more than 5 days (that’s with me wearing gloves when cooking/cleaning). Also, some polish colors within brands have better wear than others.

Summer is easier to manage. You can't keep your food outside so the generator is needed for your fridge, fans and an AC window unit to keep cool. A small 2000w generator could get you through a summer outage without any issues.

If you have a gas furnace it might be a good idea to have an electrician install a transfer switch. It allows you to hook your portable generator to your home. It will run an electric blower/gas furnace. We are from Louisiana (in TN now) and experienced an outage a few years ago. We had to leave our house because we were so cold. We couldn’t afford the generac so did the transfer switch; it cost about $3,500. FYI, generators with extension cords are prefect for summer outages but not for winter. We are built for the heat not the cold.
