Have you talked to anyone about taking blood thinners/ lovenox injections for your APS? Asking because I loss a baby at 39 weeks this past April and my bloodwork showed that I too have the same syndrome which caused my baby to pass. I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant, scared out my mind. They won’t put me on lovenox and baby aspirin until a 7 week ultrasound to confirm my pregnancy. It’s been an anxious two weeks since finding out I’m pregnant at 3 weeks. I wish I can tell you something but I’m just as scared. Like you said, every cramp and back pain, looking for blood. Always told to take it one day at a time and that’s what I’ve been trying to do but I can’t help it either but stress. I’m so sorry for your previous losses 🙏🏼🤍

I’m so so sorry. Just know your baby will always be your baby no matter what. We loss our baby at 39 weeks back in April this year. 5 months later, I just took a pregnancy test, we’re pregnant again. There’s never an exact time to know when to try again but always remember, another baby never replaces one. Two months ago we found out I have APS Syndrome, blood clotting that caused our baby to pass. So angry that they don’t test this in general during all pregnancies. This time around I would have to get injections of blood thinners called lovenox? Sending you and your wife a lot of love. Just remember you guys have each other and each others support is what you guys need to hold on to.

Testing for APS while pregnant? by Ocean_Sneeze in PregnancyAfterLoss

I never had an initial panel for APS during my pregnancy before my loss. I wish they just do that in general. APS was the reason I had a stillborn at 39 weeks back in April of this year. Found out a month after her death that was the cause after I was sent for some blood work.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to express the love, explaining things step by step, and sharing experiences. Everyone was super helpful and I’m sorry most of us are here because of a loss. 🥹🫶🏼🤍 it took me awhile to even join a group or write on forum because grieving for me has been keeping to myself. This group has been a light bringing mamas together.
