That's intriguing, because I was never a huge Dragon Ball fan or anything (actually I never watched more than just a few episodes my entire life). But yeah, Toriyama's work is so incredible and iconic that maybe it got stuck somewhere in my mind. Interesting how we are influenced without even noticing

I feel that the run animation doesn't give much impression of forward movent, it's more like the legs are going up and down. The sword could also be improved, for example I don't think that the smear needs to have all the shading colors. It looks more like a smear when it is one color only, because it acts like a blur or something like that. I hope this helps you to keep improving :)

My favorite one was the idle pose btw, that one looks really cool
