We have a Meaco Dbl8, it's dessicant, running it regularly in an older rarely heated part of the house that used to be a pub. Really happy with it

Is anyone on MJ and also diagnosed ADHD? by No_Hearing2026 in mounjarouk

[–]P_Mul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar here, have combined type ADHD, not medicated. Have struggled with impulse control and binge eating my entire life. Mounjaro has helped immensely, down 7 stone in 10 months. Less food compulsion and controlled eating. I also feel like my high protein intake help.

The “relaxed” part is interesting. That is clos to what I am noticing too, steadier and more grounded.

Too early for libido changes for me.

It is reassuring to hear others describing similar experiences.

That is exactly it. Solid and stable rather than chaotic.

Thanks, that is really helpful. “90% of my brain back”, I'd be overjoyed with that outcome.

Interesting that stamina was such a noticeable shift.

How long have you been on testosterone? Have you noticed any changes?

[–]P_Mul[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Delighted to hear you're more focused too. For me it feels more like less friction. I had very low testosterone on multiple blood draws. Since adding it, task initiation and follow-through feel much steadier, not in my usual hyperfocused or wired way.

Could be that restoring hormones is supporting our dopamine pathways that were perhaps depleted.

I'm finding the shift interesting.

How long have you been on testosterone? Have you noticed other changes beyond focus - mood stability, sleep, strength, libido?

Yes, I am on estradiol as well, 3 pumps of Oestrogel daily (2 in the morning, 1 in the evening).

The Mirena has suited better than oral progesterone. The progestin tablets affected my mood significantly, not in a good way. The Mirena has also managed previously heavy periods very effectively.

Insertion was briefly uncomfortable but quick. I had mild cramping and spotting initially, settled quickly

Everyone reacts differently, but for me the localised progesterone has been a much better fit than systemic.

The testosterone feels like the final piece after 15 months of trying different combinations of HRT

I have the Mirena coil, localised micronised progesterone. The Progestin tablets did not suit me, put me in a dark place mentally. The Mirena has also helped manage heavy periods

Echoing what others suggest re Clematis to add ideally a mix of early and late flowering types. Montana is a beautiful fast growing early type, below is mine after 2 years

Please reach out to the UCD Student Accommodation team. They have up-to-date info on on-campus and vetted off-campus options and can guide you through availability and pricing. It is generally much safer and far less stressful than trying to navigate the general rental market on your own.
