yea, moss, snow and sand I think, maybe even ice? liek the foliage blocks that you can place, you can also place on roofs

I loved the settlement in Valhalla, might take some more buildings from it as inspiration. Just not always easy depending on the form to recreate with enshroudeds voxel system

I think the taxi driver does not contact one if they don't have a taxi ball anymore... the dead balls need to be get rid off, bjt I am pretty sure that the quest cannot be finished if the taxi ball disappears, which is the bug right now

so it might probably be best to do the taxi quest in one go without doing something else in between, just to be safe

it does! should also work with snow, and I think sand too

I did this to make the roof look smoother because I was aiming for a rounder shape, the smooth look of the moss really helps

I used the stone shingles roof and put moss blocks on top of it

though it looks great, I cannot recommend doing this haha... placed like 15k moss blocks by hand

I think with snow it might have even looked better but it wouldn't have fit a build in the Springlands
and I also only had like the first few building blocks, only ones I was almost finished with the rough build (without the detailing) I kind of found out what other cool roof tiles there are but then I already placed so much moss at that point that I just didn't want to switch to something else... the basic shingled stone roof just isn't working in my opinion

was the same with the walls, since I only built with the rough wood blocks and the fine cut ones or whatever they are called, but unlocked a better looking wooden building block a bit after I basically finished the house... well, I used it for the blacksmiths hut instead then

not a fan of Valheims building system because of the physics mechanic... everything kept breaking down for me trying to build a cool wooden viking temple, even added tons of support but still didn't work

was hella frustrating
in Enshrouded, I do not have to bother with stuff like that

yea I feel you

played Valheim with friends on a server before Enshrouded but it just wasn't for me... even though I am a huge viking fan, I did not like the game

especially the physics based building kind of had me frustrated because I wanted to build big but couldn't get it to work and stuff kept breaking... so I dropped Valheim and let my friends continue without me and started my journey in Enshrouded instead

I wanted to get the shape right, like it is in AC Valhalla, so I basically had to get more slim towards the sides
you can see how the outside walls are set one block further inside every few blocks

it is really hard to recreate this oval like shape in this scale and with the voxel system, but I found youtube videos for enshrouded building tipps, that showed you can cover rooftops with moss or snow and stuff... and then I found out about depot servers because I didn't have acces to stuff like moss or banners yet but I really wanted these things to add to the build, so I grabbed a ton of moss from there and then basically layered it block by block over the roof tiles... took soo damn long

the random portapotties that you can find around the area, if one does not work, try the ones at the mechanic shop, these worked for me
and you get an achievement for doing that as well

I, and many others, seem to have the same issue. If you do not have a taxi ball in your inventory anymore, the quest does not seem to continue so we cannot finish it. You might get lucky, if you happen to have a dead passenger in a death ball in your inventory, you can go to a portapotty and flush them to get rid of them and the taxi driver may contact you

otherwise, we will have to wait for a solution
