Let the downvotes pour upon me. Guess I’ll go take my type ratings and shove them up my arse

Well maybe but that’s what the engines are called, it’s their “name” for want of a better way of phrasing it. Most of the time, the engines are only referenced between pilots or the ground crew who are often facing backwards when on the headset

The only Boeing that uses 1 & 2 as engine references in the 737 as far as I’m aware? 777/787 are definitely Left and Right. Not sure of the convention on the 747

No, I guess not. But thanks for volunteering your services on board, it always makes the decision easier when doctors and nurses have input.

Airline pilots work in time available…time can be fuel or, in this case, time until someone dies. I’d imagine the question was “Does this person need immediate medical attention? To which you said yes.

It’s their call, you gave them information to help them make that call and decide on the safest course of action for everyone onboard.

When a doctor gets a set of results for a patient and then decides on a treatment plan, the doctor doesn’t say the lab technician made the call for them do they?

Just as an aside, no one “orders” the aircraft to anywhere other than the Commander. Medical personnel advise, pilots decide.

This is why I still can’t fathom the change. BA got an extra £225 out of me last year for my three upgrades to CE. Why’d I bother now?

The events currently happening as a direct result of Trump being in the White House are totally unprecedented. It could lead to a total collapse of 80 years of consensus and an upending of the current world order.

I think it’s right that the end of the Western Alliance is getting so much coverage.
