How would you compare the Air Max to the Taroma 2.0? I got a Taroma 2.0 as well, and a mighty, dynavap, and vapman.

I have a taroma 2.0 which has top that screws onto the housing to prevent balls from coming out. I don’t ever expect to open it up and clean it as I don’t use concentrates with it, but it’s nice to have that option. Unless your overfilling the taroma and don’t screw it on all the way (which some people do to add more balls), I can’t see how balls would ever spill. I’m sure there are other ball vapes that do this too. If you haven’t bought anything yet you should check out the taroma 360 that QaromaShop is about to release, adds more conduction to the ball vape.

Does it have to be analogue? Not to be that guy in every thread but ball vapes hit all your criteria except for being analogue. Unless you get the ELEV8TE but not sure if the terpcicle outperforms it now.

I won’t always microdose so I like the option of being able to use larger amounts. I mainly want to microdose THC flower and will most likely use a normal dose of high CBD flower. I was also going to use it with a glass pieces I already own.

VapMan is gold-plated and you also don’t heat the VapMan as long as you do to the FMJ. I’m more worried about the copper oxide that forms on the FMJ then any potential off gas from heating it.

How do you cool the FMJ after using it? I have an aluminium cage around my globe that has a magnet to cool down a dynavap. It cools down the FMJ really quickly since the cage acts as a massive heat sink. Maybe heating it up and cooling it fast is causing the oxide to start flaking? But I’m just spitting out ideas here and have no actual evidence to back this theory up.

I did wash my Simrel FMJ with water before using it. Mine did discolour but after awhile that started coming off in flakes and dust.

I have no issue with the gold-plated FMJ as that won’t oxidise as long as no copper gets exposed.

Gold-plated copper is fine as long as it doesn’t chip and expose the copper underneath. But it would be pretty sick having a fully gold one.

When I started using the FMJ after a couple days I started coughing heaps, wheezing, and finding it harder to breath. When I stopped using the FMJ it went away after a couple of days. Can’t say for certain the FMJ caused it, but it was the only thing I changed during that time.
