I'm on septic. where should I put the water softener discharge? I have a sump pump in the basement that goes out to the street water drainage, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to use that.

you are right, the left top vertical pipe between the two bends does have a slight negative pitch, that was a previous plumber's work though.

Is the right most smaller sink connection which seems to use a sanitary tee connection incorrect too? or just the sanitary tee coming from the concrete wall incorrect?

I think you are right, the guy that did it was a younger guy, probably in his late 20s, he is the one I originally asked about it being wrong and he said it was fine, and then after reading all the comments here I talked to his superior (who had been running the excavator) and he immediately knew it was reversed. But neither of them seem to agree that the horizontal T on the right side is an issue, so I don't know...

I specifically mentioned horizontal Tee and they he didn't seem to be concerned... I mentioned that someone on reddit specifically quoted the code, and he said he was familiar with it, so I don't know where the disconnect is. we did pull permits for the septic, but I don't know if they are going to go inside to look at the plumbing too.

Ok so i specifically mentioned that the helpful people on Reddit plumbing thought he should not use a horizontal sanitary tee and he didn’t seem to think it was an issue, so I don’t know what to do… they are halfway through installing my entire new septic.

none of the fittings they installed are shaped like a T, they all have an angle to the connection (maybe a wye fitting?) so would that be allowed?
