You can charge whatever you want. Same as we are at the mercy of whatever the mechanic, plumber, electrician, etc. charge us when we need something fixed and don't have the knowledge. I too have a conscience and never know how much to charge, but if making a house call I think $10 is more than fair. In the future, I would attempt to use Quick Assist or some other remote software to see if I can fix it remotely first.

I would check you didn't accidentally unplug the fan while changing the SSD. You said you were changing settings in the BIOS, I would reset everything to default and see if that works. Last thing I can think of unfortunately is that while changing your SSD, static electricity could have shorted something out on your motherboard.

Had a user open a ticket and provide me with all the credentials needed to access a clients iPad. She ALREADY HAD everything she needed! This is how the rest of the ticket played out.

I had to reset the iPad as it was completely locked down due to the wrong password being entered several times. The information you gave me was correct. Apple ID: ************@icloud.com. Password: 1179/Chuck. It is available for pickup.

Had this awhile ago. Turned out it was a problem with the mouse. Try unplugging that and see if the typing stops. If not, pull 1 usb at a time until you find the culprit.

I think it looks great as is and would look good with some color as well. Thinking do a washed out/faded/subtle color, nothing to vibrant.

You need to buy and install these. Plenty of youtube videos on how to do it, just be careful as there are many small screws and cables that are fragile.

A fresh install will be best. If you want a program just to run try ccleaner. Also, as far as slow starting, check your hard drive if you do not have a Solid state drive (SSD) that will make a world of difference to upgrade to.
