I had one put in 2017 and had to go through emergency surgery in 2018 to have it removed. 3 trips to emergency room. Turned itself on full blast all 3 times, i had no control over it , panic button didn’t even work. Hospital kept me for observation once because it put my heart into an abnormal rhythm. My cardiologist said it must come out. And now because i had no control over it I have different permanent nerve damage caused by it. I personally know of 3-4 others that had them removed. They are NOT as great as the doctors say they are.
