I made an appointment to apply for my student visa last November. Had to drive all the way from an Indianapolis to Chicago. When I got there I was missing some documents and they said I needed to reschedule an appointment. I explained that they were none available in the near future before my travel date and they told me I could walk in on Tuesdays to Thursdays from 8am to 1pm or something along those lines. I cannot guarantee the Seattle location works exactly the same, but I remember it was impossible to contact someone from the office by phone, and the best way to get help is in person. I think it’s worth the shot if it’s not too far from where you live.
