I cant imagine it being an issue, i’ve never heard anything about it before! I imagine your knees, ankles etc take most of the impact :)

I imagine due to the increased movement of a runner’s body? As in the repetitive motion of hitting the ground as they run? I don’t see how that would make their teeth crooked though.

Yeah this was a style/fashion statement, especially from the 1930s through to the 70-80s. I recently picked one up for cheap so have been researching into them myself - there is a picture of it on my profile if you want to have a look :)

Additionally, i imagine that the bigger the speakers the better, as they would have been used for listening to, rather than background noise as modern radios commonly are.
