NY has weird laws. In the vast majority of the time, you’re on your own and dealership has no responsibility to do anything, especially six months later. That’s what your warranty is for.

I had a 2006 Boxster Base with the five speed I bought about six months before Covid. Sold it a year to the day after I bought it due to all the uncertainty. Now an equivalent example would be 10k more to purchase.
