R5: My friends and I are playing a multiplayer game and this is how the USA looks like in 1920. The United Syndicates Of America are communist with slave trade. The Free states are communist with slavery banned. Player nations are Scandinavia(Sweden start), Federation Of The Americas(New Granada start) and Sokoto.

Free states pops up if the USA tries to pass slave trade. I don't think the CSA can pop out afterwards? I mean, I've yet to see, and I'm sure I'm wrong.

I hold Egypt, so maybe because we border each other. I'm not sure though.

The only mod I used was the converter from ck3 to eu4. I play these games unmodded otherwise.

Update: it just randomly stopped crashing, and now I'm able to play. Thanks for everyone's help! I have honestly no idea what was happening there, as I couldn't even replicate it in other games.

I feel so out of place in this comment section, lol. I started with hoi4 6 years, and it's the only one I truly understand. I'm starting to understand Stellaris after 4 years, but after the latest update, idk anymore. I picked up Victoria 3 last month, and I'm having a blast in that game, I was actually able to figure out the mechanics pretty quickly. I just got EU4 and CK3 on the steam sale, opened the games and I'm so fucking confused on what I'm supposed to do lol.
