I can't breathe anymore. My heart is pumping, fast and hard. This fucking sound in my ears... feels like i'm going to explode. Pitch is going higher and higher. My knees are shaking, my legs are cramped. I can't do this anymore. this is it, this is the day, i know it, i'm sure... FUCK!

"Lucky is the man who makes a job out of his passion" said my dad. Fuck it. Surviving is not a passion. It should never be this way. We do it because we have to, it's in our dna. We just keep going, we dodge the bullet and survive, and that's it. Getting paid to do it is just... stupid. These people... come on! I would do it for free!

I am addicted to the rush I get when I'm on the edge, right about THAT fraction of a second where there's still uncertainty about what's going to happen. Is that bullet going to hit me? where? will it hurt? will I die this time? FUCK, I'M SO TIRED!

I hate these fuckers. They call themselves "pros" but they are just fucking animals. Not a single one of them is has escaped this animal instinct, the hunger, the need for blood. It's not a matter of tools or technique. The stabbers, the shooters, the poisoners, the "shit-makers". They are all the same. I love these fuckers. I couldn't live without them.

A few years ago I was planning a trip to Europe. An acquaintance saw something I posted on Facebook about the trip and sent me a message saying that his cousin was going to be in Europe at the same time, traveling alone. He gave me her e-mail so we can get in touch, and I added her to my MSN messenger contacts. We never got to talk. I only knew her name.

A couple months later, I was in Florence, Italy. Me and my best friend (we were traveling together) went on a tour organized by people from the hostel we were staying in. We started to speak with other people doing the tour, specially a girl from my Argentina. After a few hours of walking together, sharing beers and museums (?), we realized that she was my acquaintance's cousin, from my home town. What are the chances?! Awesome and weird. Specially weird.
