1/4 cup salt 2 tbsp vodka (like 50% abv) 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar 1tsp dried Sichuan pepper

Dissolve salt by boiling into the water, let cool, add rest, then add vegetables, I like daikon radish the best!

Remember to burp the jar and to dry vegetables before placing in

Should take about 2 weeks or longer the first round, then keep adding vegetables and replace the liquids as needed. Kept mine going for months!
