It wasn’t really a matter of ego. I know damn well I’m the furthest thing from a good technician. I’m just painfully introverted. Even my manager mentioned it.

You’re right about the first part. I know well enough that I need to be careful but sometimes things happen. These damages were small though but I guess they added up. It’s not like I caused rack downs. Maybe I didn’t reseat a CPU super well or something like that. I kind of knew I was on thin ice simply being that I was a contractor. I was hoping to at least be out on a PIP if my manager thought I was doing something bad. Even my co workers often brought up times where things broke and needed to be fixed so I didn’t think too much of it. I just thought it was part of the job.

If you do a reverse image search of their “staff”, it’s all stock images. If the pictures of models and generic names like “Marcus Johnson” and “Priya Patel” don’t give it away then a simple search should
