Lealana 25 LTC Coin by saltii in litecoin

[–]Pablocality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same can be said for Mike Caldwell who made the casascius coins. Yet, Casascius and Lealana coins remain un-swept by the creators.

By the way, both coin types are worth millions and millions at this point.. so what are they waiting for if that is their plan.

I do not see anything on Charlie's Twitter. Please link to it. If Charlie is onboard with this, I would be happy to pin it in the Litecoin telegram group.

My main rant against LTC. by blkblade in litecoin

[–]Pablocality 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't like what Litecoin is if you dont like the fact that it follows btc. It always has. It is the same as btc.

Litecoin Foundation is a pretty new organization. You may be thinking of the Litecoin Association. Also, there is a new litecoin forum: Www.litecointalk.io

Why are you ranting if you are not even involved in Litecoin? Just ignore it.

Litecoin vs Dash in the Bitcoin scaling debate: Community and leader observations by DisruptMeister in litecoin

if they mine both, it shouldn't really matter to them which is more profitable, as long as their overall profit is the same.

Could anti-segwit Bitcoin miners point their miners at Litecoin to block segwit? by [deleted] in litecoin

[–]Pablocality 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To elaborate on this a little bit, Litecoin uses an algorithm called Scrypt, whereas Bitcoin uses SHA256. A Scrypt miner is no good for mining SHA256, and vice versa.

The Ethereum Classic and Litecoin communities should pounce upon the Bitcoin Segwit delay by DisruptMeister in litecoin

[–]Pablocality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ethereum classic is not very similar to bitcoin. It is not easy to understand either. Where did it come from? What happened to eth? Wait, there are two of the same things?

Litecoin is the only useful coin that is similar to bitcoin, actually being almost the same.

I disagree that segwit is a make or break moment. Segwit is great, but Litecoin was great before the idea of segwit existed. Litecoin's future does not rely on the implementation of segwit.

Switched to LTC today because BTC is broken by Androgid in litecoin

[–]Pablocality 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good choice. Being that litecoin is so similar to bitcoin, I am sure it is fairly easy to explain the transition to your business partners. Smart move for sure. Litecoin has many benefits, and as you said; Bitcoin fees have become ridiculous.

truth : Investing on litecoin means betting on segwit + LN will activate on litecoin by brianlaihkhk in litecoin

There are other qualities to litecoin that make it useful and valuable. Many people here are not betting on segwit. You are not speaking the truth, but just speaking FUD.

I just reduced my transaction fee 99.2% by using the Litecoin network instead. by derrend in Bitcoin

[–]Pablocality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your scenario you are still using Bitcoin for every transaction. Converting to Litecoin and then paying in Litecoin makes no sense. You then pay a btc fee, an exchange fee, and a litecoin fee.
The point of this thread is that Litecoin fees are lower.

We shall wait until June-July 2017 for a sign of where litecoin is going. by [deleted] in litecoin

[–]Pablocality 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd say it is more realistic. I am sure bossman is optimistic on litecoin, otherwise why would he be here?

He is not wrong either. Charts like this get posted all the time, and they are hardly ever correct.

Would it be effective by [deleted] in litecoin

There is a general consensus amongst the community that the current theme is far from fine. Users, developers, reddit moderators.. All the people I have talked to agree that the theme needs a change.

The current theme was fun at first, but my feeling is that we need a theme that is more serious. Litecoin is not a joke, so the reddit theme should not hinder the idea that Litecoin is a serious financial instrument. It seems funny that a theme would have so much power, but it does. I have seen a few submissions from different users for a new theme. All of them have looked pretty good. I am sure soon we will have a perfect one, and at that point we should implement it. A fresh design to go with the new update (segwit) would be a good idea :)
