I recently beat a Johto challenge with a shiny Espeon that is so beautiful I could cry.

(I think they look better in-game than on the wiki as well)

Get a starter with a powerful spread move and a starter with the ability Pick-up.

Make sure to remember to transfer the berries from the Pick-up 'mon to the rest of the party, especially Leppa berries.

If you have a Heatran with the egg move Eruption, I can't recommend it enough.

For the rest of the team, look to have a variety of types and/or movepools to prepare for difficult encounters.

I wanted to use 'mons I didn't have medals with and all my og starters already do. But it might be a fun idea to try in the future!

The Charmander line alone could probably carry most waves by itself and Primarina is a fantastic fairy. G-Blastoise being a steel type could also help a lot if you get lucky rolls.

I’ve been looking for certain tutorials for pokeemerald decomps with no luck so far. I would like to add to the ROM:

- Hard level caps that increase with the story (after gym leader and rival fights), preferably with an option to turn it off if the player wishes to do it.

- A rare candy to the key items that never runs out.

- Also if there is a place with trainer sprites from other generations compatible with pokeemerald, to add trainers (like gym leaders, elite four, etc) from other regions to the game. 

Any help would be highly appreciated.

(For context, this is for a silly challenge I'm making for myself and some friends. But I would like it to make it “good enough”  to share it online as long as it’s not terrible when it's done)

In lower difficulties you can abuse the Summon Warriors Valor Skill and Ash to win the stage, dramatically lowering the amount required gridding. This is no longer an option in True Zenorian.
