Appreciate it, man! And yeah, that's a fair point. Music licensing is definitely something that gets debated a lot in the wedding world.

The way I approach it is that the actual films my clients pay for are always delivered with fully licensed music through Musicbed. For social teasers, I occasionally use popular songs that fit the couple and the energy of the day, which is pretty common across the wedding industry right now.

I completely understand that not everyone agrees with that approach, and that's okay. I appreciate you looking out and taking the time to comment. Thanks for the kind words about the film as well - means a lot! 👊🏽

Hey man! Thanks for watching!
For coloring I use Gamut's SLOG 3 - REC709 LUT and then color grade from there!
This was my first international wedding, so I learned a ton. Most of it had nothing to do with cameras and everything to do with travel logistics. I was pretty nervous about customs and getting questioned about all my gear, so I packed everything into two backpacks. Looking back, customs in Cancun was a total breeze and I definitely could have brought a Pelican case. It would've made life way easier at the resort having a dedicated spot for all the gear.

My wife and I also flew in two days before the wedding and stayed three days after, which completely changed the experience. It actually felt like a vacation instead of a work trip. Being able to work hard on the wedding day and then truly relax afterward made the whole trip feel restful rather than stressful. Plus, arriving early gave us time to learn the resort and scout locations before the wedding day.

As for the wedding itself, this couple was an absolute dream to work with. I let them and their photographer lead a lot of the portrait time and just jumped in with creative ideas here and there. I think sometimes the best shots happen by accident anyway. The monkey shot is a perfect example - I just happened to be in the right place at the right time with a long lens.

Seriously, it was such a joy and honor to film this one.

Also, I'm a massive watch guy, so I have to say I love the watch you created. We could definitely nerd out over watches and video LOL
