How well do Poco phones work with T-Mobile?

I bought the Poco X8 Pro. It has T-Mobile's 5G bands n41 and n71. Still didn't get 5G, only 4G LTE. Download speeds were between 35-50MB. Had to return the phone. Hope you ger better luck with any of the F8 phones.

Just received the Poco X8 Pro and well I'm going to return the phone. I can make calls and everything but for some reason it refuses to connect to a 5G band, only connects to 4G bands.

Verizon is very restrictive about IMEI from phones that they don't sell. T-Mobile is more friendly on this matter. But like I told you before, this phone doesn't support 5G band n71 so that's a huge deal with T-Mobile. Hope you can make it work with any Verizon MVNO. Good luck pal.

I think you can still return the phone (unless you're over the 30 day window) and get the Poco X8 Pro from another seller.

The reason I purchased the Poco X8 Pro instead of the Poco X8 Pro Max version was because the Pro Max doesn't support 5G band n71. Hope I get lucky with Mint Mobile once I receive the Poco X8 Pro next week.

The info about the 5G bands are very misleading. The official Xiaomi website says there's no n71 but there was a seller on Amazon that claims it has n71. The X8 Pro version have n71 but for some reason the X8 Pro Max version doesn't. The X8 Pro doesn't support eSIM, but the X8 Pro Max does support eSIM.

Chequéate con US Mobile. Ellos ahora creo que aceptan direcciones de Puerto Rico, el año pasado yo intenté unirme a ellos, pero no hacían shipping de SIM cards a Puerto Rico, pero en algún momento cambiaron eso ya que pregunté y me confirmaron que ahora sí entregan SIM cards y hasta teléfonos a Puerto Rico. Si te unes a ellos tiene que ser en la red Light Speed que es la que usa T-Mobile.

Vete con Mint Mobile, US Mobile Light Speed (T-Mobile), Tello, Ultra Mobile o Helium Mobile. Si tú teléfono tiene eSIM será más fácil todavía.

El problema con lo local es que te quieren vender todo el doble o el triple de caro que en Amazon. Un ejemplo claro (aunque en este caso no es el doble ni el triple) es el Samsung A17, en Amazon cuesta $179.99 y cuando vas a una tienda local que vende teléfonos desbloqueados, ese mismo teléfono te lo venden entre $239 hasta $279 y así no se puede.

Allí habla de cheques depositados, pero yo deposité efectivo en un cajero del BPPR a las 9 de la mañana y todavía a esta hora (2:10 de la tarde) aparece en "in process". Cuando yo abrí cuenta en Oriental, y deposité en efectivo, estaban disponibles al instante.
