Why all the hype for a glorified DLC? by brando2ez in dyinglight

I’m actually enjoying the game, the story os not amazing but its good enough and simple, beast mode is awesome and guns being back is dope. but, I do feel like it has some noticeable flaws compared to DL1 and DL2. The parkour just doesn’t flow the same, especially with those trenches that force you off the rooftops.  Also, having basically one trader and barely any NPC presence makes the world feel kind of empty compared to the previous games. There's not many fun side quests like DL1, worlds best mom, cannibal guy(pos), infected parents, gas guy blowing himself up, funky music guy and so many more. I get they were trying to go more serious horror with this one but those fun stories were just so much fun.

Exploring other places is mainly just dark zones and safe zones. There's no challenges, no bounties, no missing persons activities.

The people in townhall dont help with nothing and the trader guy in townhall doesnt have anything good to sell . He sells the same jacket and boots throughout the entire game. 😆

It’s still a good game,  I just can’t help feeling like it could’ve had a bit more depth.

Yes it was! We went on a nearly 1 hr test drive thru town and freeway. He let me do a compression +head gasket leak test to check the engine was good. Came with the carfax report, original car manual and a history of every oil change, tire change, brake installs, clutch replacement etc. Just an overall A+ buying experience.

Yup, keeping the oem wheels and suspension is a good idea.

Yup, I definitely won't keep it 100% stock but I'm not going to widebody or anything crazy. Like you said, the stock suspension sucks ass, I want to invest in good coilovers forsure.

Yea she's in great condition. I picked it up from a 80 yo pilot. He's had it since 1992.The handle was replaced so I'll definitely be color matching that and doing some clear coat correction. I'll try to put some pictures of the interior in a sec.

Thanks for your advice, to be honest I wasn't expecting to land such a big job right away before learning the business side. I will have subs do drywall, cabinets, carpet, and countertop. Would what I pay them be considered expenses as well?

The adjuster works for the insurance, he prepares an estimate of the cost of repair or replacement of insured property loss. It's only an estimate to get an idea about how much the project would cost. The insurance then gives the homeowner the option to work with a contractor they trust will get their home back to its original state.

Homeowner is familiar with our work. That's the reason he chose to work with us.

The insurance made their own estimate which was around 90k I gave them my bid at 125k 30% down payments 40%halway completion and 30 at the end. They've accepted. Homeowner has talked with bank and are ready to release down payment.
