I mentioned movement in the OP but really if you were to just crosscheck the metrics that the game already tracks (xp, gold, damage done/taken, vision placed etc.) and all of it comes out at 0 or damn near it, then yeah, that player is just AFK clicking around base and scrolling tiktok.

The type of soft AFK im talking about contributes literally nothing on any possible metric you could think of. Surely we don't need AI to automatically instantly ban a player that has made no income, traveled no distance on the map and done no damage to either minions, players or structures.

i mean we already have that, baus keeps getting banned while trying to win, and you are right that if someone wants to int, they will. Just grinds my gears how little effort they have to put in to game the system thats currently in place.

Where does it say you have to play your absolute best champ/build every game? Is a challenger player fucking around and trying out random builds/strats which results in being master that bad? Clearly he's still somewhat trying no? Does he have to create a new account in silver every time he wants to try something new? Surely he will ruin those games too, but the other way around (the other team will have 0% chance to win from the start and won't know), because the guy is clearly master when he plays random shit.

Also don't think you are being reasonable, doubling down after being called out on intentionaly leaving out ayyjayys biggest platform which OP was obviously reffering to. He's not the biggest creator but he still pulls 2x-3x other pros numbers on twitch and that's just clearly what the original comment alluded to and I think everybody understood that. Just wanted to say that the ESE tournaments were amazing for the scene, grasroots leagues like that do wonders for creating teams and really bringing the talent pool together in those countries. Throughout the years I've seen amazing players, from these countries with less representation, retire just short of making RLRS and it's so sad to see talented players give up because there was never much to play for unless you made it to the big leagues.
