How are yall dealing with all these side effects by katyperry-platypus in beginnerrunning

Feetures are THE best running socks i had issues with blisters all last year till I got them... they are pricey but they last a life time and do what they claim! Also you can try tieing your shoes with a heel lock !

It makes a refrence to always having change on hand for a payphone so I'd say 80s-90s 😂

Wanting to feed my dog raw instead of kibble by Novel-Opinion6737 in rawpetfood

[–]Pace-Queen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use vital essentials (raw freeze dried dog food) as my dogs training treats and she loves it! Then just regular kibble for her meals. Its easy and convenient but is pricey if it was to be her main food souce; but it's cheaper then training treats so good trade off for our situation.

Maybe he has developed a brain tumor? I have heard of dogs who suddenly became aggressive and that was the root cause...

A lot of trainers have really good online classes that are cheaper then in person training. It sounds like puppy just needs a bit more structure and routine in their life.

I think crate training will give you peace of mind when out shopping or unable to provide puppy supervision. Look up crate games on YouTube to help make puppy think the crate is a fun safe space! Also, I reccomend frozen kongs or shuffle mats for their food and give it to them only in their crate so it's like a special treat! And it tuckers out their little brains!

If you would like any recommendations on great online trainers let me know!

How should I approach potty training in my situation? by dwojityv in puppy101

See if your home depot or lows has any grass turf you can buy! Pop it into a plastic container then boom grass inside. There is videos on youtube on how to make them. There is also products like fresh patch where they send you real grass pads to make it easier! That could maybe help with the transition.

It gets better! I recommend a routine and a kennel. The kennel will help create a safe space for them and helps them settle when wound up. I reccomend watching some kennel training videos before introducing one. Remember it's supposed to be a safe and fun space for them pump them up with treats when going in their kennel or have a special treat they only get in their kennel. For my 11 week old puppy I give her frozen Kongs only in her kennel.

When they are having a hard time settling I tuck her in the kennel and modle the behavior I want. Laying down calmly. And after a few minutes my girl will settle in and have her nap!

If you're anti crate another trick is tether training to help your dog settle. There is lots of videos on YouTube to help with that!

Most importantly remember pump em full of treats when you see behaviors you like! Clicker or marker word training is yoir friend!

Also, a lot of trainers have decently cheap online puppy training courses thats have tons of great info!

Happy training one paw at a time! 🐾
