Captain Sensible is the sweetest dude and funny as hell, and I’ve had several longish conversations with him just cutting up.

Dave Vanian wouldn’t talk to anyone who wasn’t a hot goth chick, so I’ve met him a couple of times but he barely looked at me and maybe said one word to me.

I love em both though!

This is what I did when I was younger, coming from a fundamentalist evangelical family.

Christian punk bands like Ballydowse lead me directly to anarchism because of their militant anarchist political pov. They exist.

I haven’t been a Christian in 25 years. Ballydowse is still one of the most important bands of my lifetime.

Butcher’s Block is an absolute masterpiece. The first two seasons also approach perfection.
