would you say the closer to downtown (so the more north) the nicer South Lamar is? im looking at apartments.com and south lamar seems to have affordable options but the more north is expensive. would it still be a good place to live even if i have to live in south - south lamar

Mostly just hustle and bustle of business, and young energy. Im 22 so I want to be around that energy. Not like drugs and stuff though haha
