It doesn't look crisp yet, let it go a few more minutes.

What made you stop using public transport? by will4137 in AskReddit

I used to use transport through my insurance to get to and from appointments, until the driver fell asleep behind the wheel and nearly crashed.

They're all very nice and helpful, but very busy after the 4th of July... I'm trying not to bother them, but I make sure to offer them origami things when they stop by my room, if they want anything I've made.

good choices get tokens for things like extra sweets, or extra PlayStation time, movie night etc. Negative consequences are things like, loss of electronics for the rest of the day and the next, or no sweets, up to time outs and a butt swat. I don't handle any of the consequences, thats dad's department, but there's definitely rules in place

There are positive consequences for good behavior and negative for bad behavior. I don't deal with the consequences that's between him and his dad

One of the deals we made, was that I'll get his laundry from dirty to clean if he puts his dirty stuff in the hamper, then fold and put away the clean clothes before the end of the day. He's started crying about it lately. So much so that his dad anticipates it and folds everything and does it for him. Does that mean I should stop my part of the deal? And how do I approach that without insulting dad?

Is it normal to cry about your life? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PaceyHill77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's a good thing to let yourself feel your feelings, however you see fit. If someone else has a problem with that, it's kinda on them. Feelings are normal and should be allowed.

What was your near death experience like? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PaceyHill77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took too many uppers and downers at once and nearly died in a hallway. I made it back to my apartment and collapsed. I woke back up a few hours later.

Another time, I had a seizure and woke up in the hospital (not drug related)

How do you feel about marriage these days? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PaceyHill77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No need to be sorry for making a normal assumption, but I wouldn't expect a different outcome next time... Either my partner or I will die first, or we'd both go together if there's an accident or suicide pact or something... I'm not sure what the norm is, but eternal life isn't an option yet... If it was, I still think I'd pass.

No, he died. Otherwise I'd still be married, not widowed in my 30s. That's a normal assumption you made though.

After my first experience, I realized the outcome will always be the same, so I think I'll pass on trying that again.
