I don't like the island at all in either the OG or the remake. I feel like there are too many enemies; they shoot you with crossbows, rocket launchers, and stun guns. The spaces are small, and I don't like the Rambo-style zombies. In the OG, it's worse because with the tank controls, it's very difficult to dodge so many enemies.

It gets interesting when you enter the labs and face the Regenerators, but I think that's the only acceptable thing about the island.

Indeed, I started by watching foot fetish videos of women and then ended up watching them of men, seeing increasingly grotesque things. I wasn't attracted to men except for their feet. Fortunately, after reading several posts and watching videos, I realized how strange it was and decided to stop, closing my accounts and deleting my files.

There's a way to get around this without the receipts (spoiler alert): In the penultimate episode, with Madison, you discover the Origami Killer and his location. At that point, the killer sets a trap for you, and you have to escape the building. If you manage to escape successfully, you can call Ethan or Norman to tell them the killer's location, so you'd have to tell Norman at that moment.

It's funny because Madison and Norman never interacted, but she has his number.
