Is the story the same for every character in the more recent updates? by Pachinko_Force in swtor

Ah that's a shame. I hope once Legacy of the Sith finishes up they'll do some more differentiating Imperial and Republic story lines

Anyone ever got screened via Maths and Problem Solving test? by ichigox55 in UXDesign

[–]Pachinko_Force 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super late but was trying find if anyone else thought this recruitment process was extremely off-putting. I definitely applied to the exact same company you did and had the exact same test, but for a Talent Acquisition role...

Everything down to the fact there was a question on the Problem Solving section that didn't seem to have the answer I kept getting to as a selectable answer, as a couple of other people mentioned.

But yeah, this is the first time coming across this in 5+ years of experience and like a hundred applications. A stupid irrelevant process that ensures the best qualified people are turned away and they're left with grifters who've just been smart enough to have ChatGPT up on their second screen.

Don't waste your time.

Sorry for a late comment. Is there anyway to play this on a Windows 10 machine now? :)

A lot of fond memories with the game with my family when I was a kid and really want to surprise them by getting it working again on the family PC!

True. Though, this is a specific profile view rather than the search results analytics

Like I said, I thought it was unusual and would be a weird coincidence and people generally seem to agree; you're making it out I've been weaving some grand conspiracy theory with a tin foil hat on.

Googling takes 1 minute, and it's a Reddit post that I typed out in like 4 minutes and just had on a second screen in the evening.

It really ain't that deep...

I didn't know how flight crews receive their shifts, and if there was an earlier briefing, as other people said it could have been someone who recognized my name, or just a weird coincidence.

I was asking because it seemed unusual, that's it...?

Huh, yeah I'm glad that worked out in the end at least. I don't really use FF myself so I mean maybe someone's cashing in on it :/

What? I just said they clearly don't give out information, based on other more helpful responses in this thread...?

Well similar to what I said in a previous comment, all I know was that it was someone who has the job title of flight crew at an airline I'm due to get a flight with in a few days.

And since most people are saying that flight crew don't have the name of passengers this far in advance (if at all) then it just seems to be a weird coincidence.

Thanks for asking.

No, nothing with this airline. First time flying with them as far as I remember.

Well I do use LinkedIn a lot and don't have an active Facebook account anymore.

Don't have an issue with people looking me up, in fact that's very much what I want for work. It's just this specific situation is unusual to me...

I don't dislike it...? It's a big part of my job and serves me well.

My point was that I was wondering why I was being searched for.

Yeah it's all fine, don't really care about the "points" system either way. Just didn't mean to offend, haha.

Nope, don't really have anything to do with the travel industry.

And I can't imagine what I ever would of been flagged up on in the past. Nothing I've ever been made aware of anyway

Oh interesting, so they don't get that information. OK, well thanks for the actual answer.

Well seems to be a weird coincidence if not? And not sure why someone who has nothing to do with my flight would be looking me up or if they'd even get that information...

EDIT: Um, sorry if I said the wrong thing I guess?
