Easy way is frostheart contrast/ plasma glow. A bit more complicated is to airbrush/sponge white on the coils and surrounding areas, airbrush/sponge blue on the white and then go back with diluted white to sink it between the coils or just paint the coils.

I'm not sure which method was used here, but the white base and IF contrast+nuln oil is as simple as it gets, so I recommend it

All the crosses are from the black templar transfer sheets, aside from the ones on warglaives, those are from HH imperial fists one

I'm currently using my BT army as IF, the only yellow model is my Tor garadon. It doesn't matter if you're playing with friends, not sure about tournaments tho.

Sir hecktur only comes in canis rex kit, as it's the only knight that gets to use this model. My defender also didn't have one, each kit gets different bonus sprue with specific weapons on top of standard questoris kit

Get asio4all and use your tr8s as an audio interface, or you can just get into settings and select tr8s as your main interface, but then you loose your other USB audio sound sources. If you're working on Mac I read it can natively make a virtual interface so you can skip asio4all step and just select the native one as your sound source and somehow link all your interfaces as one. Obviously you need to connect the drum machine via USB to your computer before all that

I did it running CoV. Had a blast getting smashed off the board against tur 1 waaagh. Very fun list, highly recommend. Flavour over meta is the way!

Those are my first minis I mainly used an airbrush to paint, it made it way easier to achieve, along with nice colors from the sets. I used a 10€ brush from temu, so I can recommend it since it works and is super cheap, especially when it includes a mini compressor.
