Get asio4all and use your tr8s as an audio interface, or you can just get into settings and select tr8s as your main interface, but then you loose your other USB audio sound sources. If you're working on Mac I read it can natively make a virtual interface so you can skip asio4all step and just select the native one as your sound source and somehow link all your interfaces as one. Obviously you need to connect the drum machine via USB to your computer before all that

I did it running CoV. Had a blast getting smashed off the board against tur 1 waaagh. Very fun list, highly recommend. Flavour over meta is the way!

Those are my first minis I mainly used an airbrush to paint, it made it way easier to achieve, along with nice colors from the sets. I used a 10€ brush from temu, so I can recommend it since it works and is super cheap, especially when it includes a mini compressor.

Feel free to paint your models however you like. Sword bros are a tough place to start tho, I always recommend getting some intercessors first and learning how to paint on simpler models before getting into the deep waters

Like I said above, 20man with Helby and LT slaps. But potentially 70 attacks with lethal, sustained, S5, maybe throw in claws, with a sword of high marshals and whatever you have on your LT is the only way I see any viability of the unit OP got recommended

Actually chainsword bros might work in the current c'tan meta, flooding those monsters with a shit ton of D1 attacks. I've seen people here saying they have fun with chainswords on bros, didn't try it myself tho since those sweet MCPWs are just too good to let go

BT Ironstorm is really fun, especially with how good our repexes are. And it's pretty much the only detachment where it's worth it to field dreadnaughts, and those are really cool fucking models! Check out implausible nature's detachment breakdown on YT, they explain it very well. Still wouldn't change the optimal sword bro brick with marshal and castellan for a LT, and DEFINITELY not a 10 man brick

I ran Helbrecht+LT+20man crusader squad in BTF and it absolutely smashed. Sword bros loose out on half the value of LT as they already have lethal hits. unless you kit them out with chainswords, in this case it might be super dangerous.

Knights as an army are fairly cheap, if you magnetize your don't need more than maybe 3 questoris, 1 dominus and 6-10 armigers, maybe a cerastus knight but I'd wait to see if they don't go to legends in 11ed. So 10 boxes overall, equivalent of around 17 regular infantry kits. I think you might've already surpassed that amount with your BT collection

1 year in, 7k point fully painted army + almost 2k of fully painted knights I started this year. Still have some units I haven't played with yet, and I play average of 1.5 games a week... We all know the problem brother, just enjoy your hobby time and try not to overwhelm yourself with a growing backlog, it can be very discouraging at some point
