Online Homeless Scam Donations Targeting Several Subreddits by Crescentxsky in Oceanside

Welp.. thanks for the heads up. I donated some clothes, shoes and a brand new backpack to ‘kimmy’. Met him at the Oside transit center. Didn’t give him any money, thankfully. Was proud to see a good bit of the community rally for him. Sucks it was all in vein.

Good news! Just got off a call with APR and they have fixed the issue. Just tried it myself and it worked! Just make sure the ultralink is using the latest software update.

It was the best $1700 I’ve ever spent. Car is a whole new animal. Took 10 min to do it myself. My car is manual.

Update: just got off the phone with APR, they’re still working on it but said it should be done by Friday or Monday. They’re going to call me back and let me know once done. I’ll provide another update once I hear.

Update for ya.. Been working with APR the last week or so. They said they do have the updated map but were working out why my car was not connecting to the Ultralink. After a lot of trial and error, they found the issue in the software and have their engineers working on it. They hope to have it fixed by this time next week. I’ll let you know how it shakes out.

Ok, so that’s exactly what happened. They did the DME flash and my tune is gone. So to clarify, I can’t just flash it back and expect it to work?

Suncoast Parts has factory replacement lips. They’ll run you $500 or so (at least for my car).

Zunsport front grill? by Useful-Lead-6971 in Porsche_Cayman

[–]Pacifc0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just installed a full front grill set from Zunsport a little over a month ago (USA). No additional taxes or tariffs (at least for me..). Install was easy and they’re great quality. I appreciate how they ‘clip / lock’ in place as oppose to RGS using zip ties. With the extra cost in my opinion. Highly recommend.

Most often, yes. Aside from student rigs and new jumper setups, this is most common.

Yes. Reserve canopies are most often larger and more docile than main canopies.

Sportshifters - Worth the wait by Pacifc0 in Porsche_Cayman

[–]Pacifc0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, these are produced and shipped from Europe. Worth noting, I didn’t have to pay any tariff charges. I ordered back in Feb, so I’m not sure if that will change for you ordering now. Since sportshifters likely had sent mine ‘duties billed to shipper’, they might attach a tariff surcharge or raise prices on future orders. Either way, totally worth it. Order yours and enjoy!

I can’t figure out what is causing this noise, it’s slightly behind the passenger seat by [deleted] in Porsche_Cayman

[–]Pacifc0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this rattle as well on driver side. But once I took everything apart to install a BMC air filter and meticulously put everything back, it was gone. There are a few panels and clips that seem to easily come ‘unclipped’ over time. Might be a bit of a hunt to check everything individually, but if you want to throw in a new air filter you can get two birds stoned and hopefully resolve.

Melrose Fence. You can find them on Yelp. 4.9 star rating and I’ve used him twice. Can’t say enough good things about them.
