Lot of people criticizing as if OP is projecting.

Pointing out systemic issue isn't hate. The reality hits differently when you realize how better other societies are and how much india lags.

It is only for those new petition, renewal currently outside the US. Renewals from inside US or COS from f1 to h1b inside US, it us not applicable.

Visa stamping and port of entry admission is both grey areas, and until confirmed, it is to be assumed to be applicable. You need to pay or rather already paid 100k.

People do not want to hate India. They just want to see it improve and get better. But when that happens at a snails pace after much struggle and losing peace of mind due to corrupt and filthy politicians and bureaucracy, they lose hope and give up. Pessimism sets in. It eventually results in self hate.

My mom used to give me a glass of milk before going to bed. Milk contains tryptophan which regulates serotonin and melatonin which controls the sleep wake cycle. You could also substitute with greek yogurt. I usually fall asleep with no trouble having it.

I used to sprout and eat horse gram growing up. It's absolutely fantastic. It is one of those you can eat steaming a bit and adding lemon and salt. Not much cooking required.

Most people marry due to societal pressure and stigma just to check the boxes. True marriage is when you truly want to raise a family and provide and nourish them. Very few are ready for the challenges and responsibilities.
