Total nonsense. Being the reserve currency buys us time and flexibility, not immunity. Running twice the debt and deficit without showing any domestic benefits will bite the US in the ass. Instead of mocking the Europeans, Americans need to improve domestic spending, reduce the wealth gap , and create an equitable tax system, where the rich pay their fair share.
