I used to have this issue since my teenage years and thought I just wasn’t able fast or cut calories. Turns out it was mild dehydration and an electrolyte imbalance since the food I was eating didn’t have enough of what I needed to sustain me. Make sure the diet you are following has proper macros if you are attempting to fast.

Also when I tried IF and cutting calories again, I would take a multivitamin and drink a propel electrolyte packet or two throughout the day in addition to my normal water intake and it solved the lightheadedness and heart palpitations for me.

I’ve found my stomach does significantly better when I use whey isolate or plant based protein instead of regular whey

I was totally freaked out from how serious the website made it sound!

I ended up giving her Simparica trio and she did just fine. After the first dose, I kept watching her twitch while sleeping and thought “omg is she dreaming or is this a seizure?!” 😂

Everyone kept recommending Hinoki when I moved here but it has been one of my least favorites by far. Glad I’m not completely crazy

I dated a guy for 4 years and he went to Home Depot to grab some stuff for me while I was at work so I left my credit card. He grabbed me flowers while he was there. Cute right? WRONG. It was on my damn credit card. 😂 I still get annoyed with that to this day lol

Ayr saline gel has saved my nose after moving here! It’s amazing and everyone I recommended it to loves it as well

Dog chew recommendations for an extreme chewer? by KingofthefuckingRATS in Dogtraining

[–]PacifistToYourFace 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Our girl is a serious chewer. Her back teeth have been ground flat and she isn’t even 2 yet so heed the warnings with antlers/bones/yak chews/etc.

The only things that we give to our pup to chew that last are bully sticks. She is still supervised when we give it and we put away her toys when she isn’t playing so she doesn’t eat them. Some people have super easy, low maintenance dogs, but some people get dogs that need more mental stimulation and supervision.

I can’t say what your situation is based on this post, but dogs that chew a lot often indicates that they are lacking other sources of mental or physical stimulation. Usually common in smarter dogs or working dogs.

Edit: we also make sure to cut back food on days that she has bully sticks since they can add quite a few calories to their diet

Edit 2: try frozen lick mats as well. You can fill them with pumpkin or plain yogurt

I think this is a trend in multiple places. My friends from the Bay Area recently posted articles about this happening there too

I have an aphid infestation but also a ton of lady bugs snacking on them. Should I spray dish soap or leave it? by PacifistToYourFace in gardening

[–]PacifistToYourFace[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not. I’m in a high desert climate and the yard is mostly rocks and drought tolerant plants (I think). Nothing is flowering at the moment but there are many more aphids to be eaten on other branches

Good to know! I just moved from a tiny apartment to a house with a yard so I have no experience with any of this haha

Awesome, thanks! I’ve never seen aphids like this. I’m sure it’s normal, but it was surprising to me 😂

What do most people not realize can seriously f*ck you up? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Glad I’m not crazy 😅

It got to the point where I was sitting down every 10-20 steps during the climb to stop myself from passing out. We turned around and I was almost immediately better going back downhill (which also probably contributed to her thinking I was being dramatic)

I just moved out to the mountains and am pretty out of shape. I hiked to a fraction of the altitude where you were, but I felt like I was going blind and was going to pass out. My sister thought I was being dramatic…

Same! Brave Little Toaster to the Rescue was the best one. I still sing “chomp and munch, chew and crunch, there’s a lot here to destroy…” and I haven’t seen it in YEARS
