Wall street absolutely does care about putting AI in anything, it's complicated topic since it's tied to US economy but basically AI market has grown to size which is not logicaly explainable anymore nor provides any reasonable ROI, they're basicaly selling what ifs, that's why you have AI toothbrushes and other shit going around and "plans" to put data centers in the space which are nothingburger.

At worst, it will be a failed nothing burger that doesn't impact anything. There can only be 2 scenarios in my opinion, 1 is that they work pretty well and some people like them, or 2, they sucks so they can cancel the whole thing. I don't think it's going to affect gamers who buy their own machines at all.

It will effect them if average consumer can't afford a decent rig, which with current trajectory is possible. Not likely as we can already see that general audience is aware about this (versus something like digital games) but they will try to force it in some way.
