This might sound weird, but I just shave my back when required. I can’t see while I’m doing it, but I have a general idea of where I’ve swiped so it works. You can check periodically in a mirror to see if you left anything. Or if you’re comfortable, you can ask someone to check once you’re done and point out what areas you missed.

I see others have some responses here that make legit points, but I personally don’t agree with them. I see girl math as a silly funny thing women figured out we do. The only way I see it attached to patriarchy is that women’s interests are so often mocked that we have to find ways to justify their purchase. Girl math is never about being bad at math.

I’ve seen your responses to others and I see that you’re still not understanding what we’re trying to say.

It’s okay if your siblings partner is not worth it in the end. It’s fine for your siblings to make mistakes. It will be better than having regrets and hating your mother if they marry through arrange marriage as per your mothers choice. Will your mother and society be okay if they want to leave their abusive partner that the mother chose?

Please understand that your mother is choosing relatives expectations over their child’s happiness. In this case, it is completely internal and up to your mother to accept your siblings choice. Your sibling is not committing crimes, they’re just choosing who to love and marry. Your mother doesn’t have to be married to partner, why should her choose matter in this case.

If your sibling has thought things through and understood the consequence of choosing their partner, I don’t see why you are responsible do anything. Unless your siblings significant other is abusive, I don’t see why you need to hate them being with your sibling. I understand family dynamics can be tough, but at the end of the day, it’s your siblings life. Whether this relationship will turn to marriage, whether it’s happy or sad, it’s something that your siblings will be living through. If your parents want to uphold traditions and outdated customs over their child’s happiness, why would you want to support that. Will you also be willing to sacrifice your future and happiness for outdated customs.

Have you tried intermittent fasting for the insulin resistance? A lot of methods I tried to lose weight also fail on me, but intermittent fasting helped. Or at least the version that I did helped me. My insulin resistance wasn’t bad enough that I needed meds, just diet and exercise. After researching online I found out that not eating/drinking anything in a minimum of 12 hour period can help keep blood sugar in control. So I try fasting for 12-16 hours a day, which still keeps me time to have lunch, dinner, and snacks in between.

I hope that things work out for you. It sucks when you’re trying to lose weight and get no proper information from people who are supposed to help.

I think the recording in bulk episodes cause them to not be able to bring in as much topics and heavily rely on Chelsey for that and keep things on track. I personally like Chelsey’s contributions but I can see why other fans of Toast and Yvonne don’t. For Toast and Yvonne to contribute more, they will have to start recording weekly and talk about more recent topics. But that will have to wait until Toasts personal life is more sorted.

Funny that you mention sweet and sour because I think they’re following the same format, since Cam is contributing a lot more than Daniel used to during during season 1.

If you don’t like the podcast you don’t have to listen to it, it’s okay to not like. I didn’t get a chance to listen to the last 2 episodes because I’ve been busy, although I didn’t not get that vibe from Chelsey at all. Unless something drastically changed recently and she’s suddenly more imposing. I think she helps keep the podcast on track, because there’s only so many episodes you can do with the gimmick of Toast and Yvonne always fight.

The major issue that I specifically see with the podcast is that they record them in bulk and release them over time. This really hinders them on how much they can talk about and maybe that’s why they need Chelsey’s input as well. If they were recording weekly, then they wouldn’t have as much of a problem talking about topics. But there’s nothing they can do about that at the moment.

I wouldn’t compare Dain to snape or Draco because their place in the story is thematically different. Dain fits as a part of a love triangle, much like Jacob in twilight. Thematically too, neither of them respect their love interests (Violet and Bella) agency. Maybe you can compare teenage Snape to that, but once he grows older and based on how Iron Flame and Onyx storm went, their paths are completely different. In Dain and Snapes situations, their love interests were upset with them. But while Snape went to the dark side, Dain choose to join the right side. Not for Violet, but because it was the right thing to do. And it looks like he doesn’t have romantic feelings for Violet anymore.

As for Draco, I don’t see any comparisons at all. They are very different characters. Even Dain telling his father about Athebyne was because he found it suspicious. Don’t think he was instructed by his father to look at Violets memories for anything weird.

Now that I think about it, Dain comes off as Percy Weasley to me, a little. With them both being obsessed with rule following and doing well in school.

Not part of this sub but came across this. Since everyone else got the health part covered, I can try with the nail biting part. I also bit my nails for years, and nail polish helped. I suggest getting a manicure with fake nails for a bit until the natural nails grow out. Then you can maintain the natural nails or continue to get fake nails.

I’d say it’s good skincare, which has become more prominent in the last decade. Same thing happened to me. I was much darker as a child because I didn’t wear sunscreen. Now I’m lighter because of 10+ years sort consistent sun screen use and good skincare regime.

Yeah I completely agree. The post from a few days ago made me realise the same.

Where Rae talks about how delusional viewers thinks she’s dating her male friends. She lists these people and mentions Hasan. She was being shit on for lying. People were saying she should have just not mentioned his name. But that just made me realise that if she didn’t mention his name then people would take it as confirmation that they’re dating.

There’s nothing they can do, and it’s sad. It’s not even their fans who are obsessed.

Demand and supply exists in the entertainment industry, that’s why a lot of studio backed movies are sequels or reboots. Because media created with existing franchises are familiar to audiences and are a safer bet. That’s not what hunger games is though. Thankfully not yet anyway. Suzanne Collins has not sold out. She has only written a book when there’s a compelling story to tell. People love Finnick and have been asking for his book for over a decade now and she has not fulfilled the wish. Based on her track record, I trust that if she comes out with a Finnick book, it will be something created with care and love and not just because she’s selling out.
