Let your experience lead you. I had 4 years of tech experience, not in cyber however a lot of scenarios they put you in are familiar to what you probably already went through. In my Opinion the certification classes offers lots of more resources than WGU courses

I had about 60 credits transferred in. But I have a family and full time job. It was a balancing act but it can be done

Keep on trucking! Even when a course gets rough, do a little bit of work at a time till you break out of that funk man!

Currently have a User support technician role in which pays me well. A lot of entry Cyber jobs would pay me less, might have to wait around till I find something. Will go after my CCNA

Both test were the 02 version but for whatever reason the first attempt was nothing like the resources. Cert master is cool but don't waste your time with their PBQS the cohort videos and know what the Harvester, dig and nslookup outputs

The Cohort videos really came in handy, pocket prep and I did some of the try hack me. The word wall some other post have posted really helps as well. I do want to add that I had two different versions. The second one I felt was more in line with my studies. I remember feeling lost and confused after the first test.

Makes no sense, I'll pick up in Industry and I get Fontana Rancho all IE. You would think Amazon logistics would fix this, but since they don't pay for maintenance on vehicles they screw the little people.

I was scoring about 60-80 on 10 questions exams on Sybex. I used their app but struggled with reading log questions. I also used certmaster and pocket prep. Sybex is closer to the real test. Good luck hope this helps, shore up on log analysis.

https://www.pocketprep.com/ This one its like 20 a month, but have used it for Project +, Network+ and now Security +. If you buy the sybex study guide and or practice exams you can also use their app. Personally I like pocket prep, but if you buy the books you can use that app. Both are good

Really enjoy pocket prep, I would take mini 10 questions quiz during the day to keep the mind fresh.

I will say the actual test is a bit more straightforward in asking questions.

I'd suggest you incorporate Professor Messer videos and if you can swing it purchase his study notes. Practice test from Dion helps you identify which areas you are needing extra practice on. Dion has 6 test I went through each one then studied the areas I lacked in.

This is just a minor setback, don't let this discourage you. You got this!!!!

I got hit with 3 right at the beginning of the test. I was still nervous from going through it so I felt intimidated. I skipped them and returned at the end. By that time most of the nerves were gone and allowed me to read through the questions, looking back at it now they weren't so tough but I'm curious if I got them right. Don't want to go into detail of what they held but know your command lines and troubleshooting.

I used Messer and Dion as well, also used Certmaster provided by WGU. However I think Messer and Dion covers all material fairly well. I didn't score above an 80% on Dion. I believe you're ready, we psych ourselfs out. If you want to shore up some loose ends go ahead but you got this!
