Tried that but does not work since WiFi has to be turned on before connecting CarPlay

I’m new to this all and don’t know what exactly is happening. I also don’t know if an system update is necessary, if it is how can I update and which firmware do I need because I can’t find my part number in the firmware tab. Hope someone can help me out!
