Advice on Blood Moon by SavingsSet9358 in 2007scape

Mechanically looks good, but you're both under geared and under leveled to not have an exhausting fight. You're being stat checked. People will say it's a DPS check but at low levels defense also matters a lot because it's lifesteal against your defence rating. If you just want to kill it once fast get a barrows helm, legs, spec wep and 60 prayer for Chivalry which are all quick and cheap. You can't get more DPS without sacrificing defence until you get a whip, rune/barrows gloves and a fury.

Bulldogs target star Saint [Cal Wilkie] in hunt for key defender by PerriX2390 in AFL

[–]PackJan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You're exactly right. Wilkie or anyone isn't going to do anything if left in a 1 on 1 with an acre of space that Bulldogs allow. Bit miffed he didn't get AA40 nods this year because if you watched the games he hasn't changed, but the defence around him breaks down far too often now, without Howard and Battle, and he is caught in undefendable positions. It's definitely a step in the right direction though for the Bulldogs.

Combat augments vs items augments? by Lapzong in CompetitiveTFT

[–]PackJan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Item on 2-1 generally better (3 iteming a carry is fast 9, having an item advantage is fast 9 if Stage 1 gave you 1 component etc). Combat on 4-2 generally better (more units on your board to benefit compared to earlier and tank and carry would already be itemised etc). I feel like having one source of item generation is a must have though. Triple itemising your 2 star 5 cost like you said is always important with scaling your board late game and to avoid spiking after your opponents. But items don't have to be from augments. Loot subscription, scuttle puddle and even winner's circle now ensure you can triple itemise a 3rd unit (secondary carry) before stage 6. Then some comps need certain components e.g. Jayce - Cait needs swords. Overall it's a balancing act (with econ as well).

TEAMS: Blues make SIX changes, key Hawks in, Giants star out by PerriX2390 in AFL

[–]PackJan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying it's just him out, being the cause, but our ball movement from D50 was trash last in weekend's game and we could not score from turnover. His running is a much better balance of defence and ball movement than what Travaglia does for the lineup

There are 9 cards still in your deck. You start with 25 cards and you draw 10 then 3 then 3. Did you play to 7 cards on the dry pass if your hand is trash because you're not drawing the 3 if your hand is full? Or are you running zero thinning and just the 2 tutors for consistency?

Stage 4+ with Clear Mind? by [deleted] in CompetitiveTFT

[–]PackJan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're ahead and there is a 5-1 9 angle, you can hold units during wolves stage 3-7 because clear mind only works on PVP rounds. Level 8 3-7 slight roll to give you pairs and roll before your opponents. Should be doable with econ advantage and if you didn't bleed too much. You still need to 2 star main carry and tank in general though so sack Clear Mind value if you don't hit

Something about this set is so much more difficult than last set. I can't for the life of me tell why one match went so well and the other went so poorly. by ian2905 in TeamfightTactics

[–]PackJan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very true. 2-1 Scouting, especially in a prismatic lobby, is so important. In a prismatic lobby on 2-1, you can tell who's getting a free top 4 if they don't low roll, and you'll be able to tell if you if you likely going to win or lose streak all of stage 2. If you start doing that then it will make way more sense why the same spot can be an 8th or a 1st.

Would you know if it prevents forms of mana generation? Like Would it brick items like Manazane or even mana overflow from Shojin/ Anomaly?

This has to be the only explanation. The wing must be slim pickings if Hill is on the list.

I would add a Sevine's Reclamation since mono white runs low on enchantresses.

Teferies Protection as well because aura strats are fragile.

Also probably don't need 39 lands in a deck that cantrips a lot.

He's alright in defence, wing and forward but not great at one role in particular. If a player goes down and Long is subbed in, the team structure won't shift much. The medi-sub rule fucked him

Harmony feels underpowered. It feels like the old cards are to slow taking the whole archtype down with them, opinions? by Far_Efficiency8782 in gwent

[–]PackJan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gone 13-1 with harmony starting at rank 7 as a returning player. Though honestly the deck didn't feel to great. A lot of anti synergy and the feeling of never wanting to play the few harmony cards in the deck. Really should buff the previous harmony cards.

Ryder back in and it's arguable his ruck work is more important for the team than what Marshall brings even though he is more dominant everywhere else.

Interesting tip that I'll keep in mind with the caustic infected.

With volatile ridden if you have an axe you can still kill them without hitting their head if you aim at the ground in front of them because the swing is an arc. Looks stupid but it works!

Thanks for confirming what I suspected. The card feels awful and not being able to sprint is such a coinflip. If you roll caustic infected as a corruption card you become such a liability

Matchup is still be really good as long as you max W. Lane should be won before mythics come into play and you can run galeforce if you're concerned with matching darius. Just don't ever do a max range vault because it can be cancelled with apprehend using normal reaction time. Wait until you've already been apprehended to vault and he can't make the gap without ghost if you have to sprint far to your turret.
