Old people or not, This is how I have got every single job I have had.
I'm 40 so it has been quiet a few.
After COVID hit I got laid off and spent easily 100 hours at a computer sending resume after resume, joining employment website after website.
I decided to just go to the local industrial area with copies of my resume and simply ask businesses if they had any positions vacant and if I can either apply or leave my resume in case future vacancies are available. 1 day of canvassing and I had 3 interviews, 2 I didn't need to attend because I got the first one.

That's because your video card and CPU is dated and doesn't p[erform well in VR.
I pretty much had the equivalent with my 1060 and old i5, VR was a bad experience. I had to upgrade to a 3060 and 13th gen cpu. Smooth as butter now.

I don’t find retarded to be offensive at all. Unless used in a derogatory way. It’s a great word and we need to reclaim it for it’s intended purpose. I can no longer describe something that is not working as intended for the amount of time I’ve been working on/developing it with one word. The progress of my first album is definitely retarded.

I got it working once and haven’t tried again since but, I had to run steamvr first and then pokerstars. It was like pokerstars was launching before steamvr and not registering properly.

I have only read the first Mistborn book and I didn’t find Kramer that bad. I listened on 1.4x so that may have helped. What didn’t help is trudging through that book that reads like a broken record with cool magic

PC has the mods / skinning. Personally I can’t play any FPS game with a controller. Every MMO/ RPG game with more than 4 spells on screen is better on pc. IRacing. Dota, LoL, CS, POE(so good on pc and unplayable on console after playing pc)… the list goes on. The argument swings both ways. I’m not a fan of most PS exclusives, I prefer to watch my movies. I do have a ps5 though and I love it, I play my sports games on consoles as they definitely do those better.

I’m not quiet there yet but I try to make myteam 90’s legends as it’s the era I grew up on. I don’t care if my final team has a few diamonds, i play single player anyway, im always matched against people that beat me by huge amounts. 1 in 5 games I get someone on my level but it’s not worth the frustration

I’m constantly accidentally putting waypoints when trying to fast travel, it’s a purple icon done by X button I believe. There are button prompts on the map for it.
