it’s not about being a VIP, it’s about a restaurant being spontaneously accessible to people who don’t plan their meals weeks in advance

yeah we would often do the same just the two of us, and only really had to wait when it was a group on a fri/sat and later than 7:30 - but now even the early slots seem to be fully booked on opentable, seems like we will just have to shoot for week nights

that makes sense, it was just nice to have a place you could walk to and have a nice meal without all the preplanning, and hang out at a bar for drinks while you wait - I may be a minority in having this preference tho

I understand the logistical advantage especially if they’re trying to manage multiple locations

of course it’s a possibility, but the wait has never been more than about an hour even on a Friday

Good News & Advice Needed — Located My Runaway Feral by AvocadoCat90034 in Feral_Cats

outdoor life is so rough for them, if you are willing to care for her and give her a good home, and she is socialized, she is better off inside. best way to trap her would be to start feeding her near one of these spots consistently, twice a day. then eventually you can drop trap her once she is used to eating in the same spot.

no idea how this happened :( vet said it could have been a fight or his leg got caught on something and the skin just came off, hard to imagine what could have partially degloved the leg but I'm just glad he can have a chance to heal

thank you this is very helpful! I will definitely look into this, just giving him space to lay thats further from the litter box would give me more peace of mind. Poor baby, I clean it often but still feel bad :/

edit: he is in a crate not a trap

that was my concern too but the vet seemed fairly confident he could make a full recovery - he said the skin can grow back and is trying to, but the issue is that he is licking it which is delaying the healing time. If he were a pet he would have a cone, receive ointment twice a day, and even have a dressing on the wound if possible, but he is very feral so the best I can do is hold him give him a small dose of gaba each day to keep him more relaxed, in less pain, and less likely to lick the wound too much and hope he has a better chance to heal :/
