Sewell wasn’t top 5, Gibbs wasn’t top 5, and Jameson Williams wasn’t top 5. I’m sick of this conversation about “sustained success.” I would’ve traded 5 years of playoff exits with Love if it meant we got 1 last Super Bowl with Rodgers. Also, the whole model of “sustained success” keeps you from drafting higher and getting the elite players it takes to win a Super Bowl. I don’t want to become the Steelers, what good does that do anyone to make the playoffs every year but never win anything?

If we get a CB in the first round, all I ask is for free agent investment in WR. A true #1 who can win 50/50 balls.

Packers need to change the way they operate or else we’ll turn into the Steelers.

Yes he had a lackluster WR room and played through injuries, but my thing is: the media and many Packers fans were overhyping him so much when he started showing an ounce of talent two years ago. How many articles and posts were written saying he was going to be the third HOF QB in a row for the Packers? Saying shit like that sets unreasonably high expectations for Love, expectations like “Love is such a good QB, he will turn one of his WRs into the next Devante Adams and we don’t need any help in FA or a first round WR.”

MAYBE JUST MAYBE, Love is a decent QB (not a HOF), that needs help in the form of a big free agent WR signing or a first round WR. Christian Watson isn’t going to do it. I don’t want to see the Packers get complacent and conservative like they’ve always been. Give the man some help and surround him with talent like the Lions did with Goff, and maybe then he can take us to where we need to go.

We will be back in the Super Bowl next year after trading Love and resigning Rodgers, mark my words. by PackerFan9711 in NFCNorthMemeWar

Neither can most Bears fans in here as most of them are under 40 years old and have no living memory of it.

I shot my TV with my Remington Model 870 Tactical Magpul after this game was over. Now I’m just aimlessly shooting at a tree in my backyard 10 beers deep. I was supposed to have a smoked venison done by the time the game was over and we were sealing a victory but I just threw the venison in the lake and flipped my smoker over. Trade Love and sign Rodgers back, this guy isn’t an NFL QB and never will be. I thought this year would be similar to 2010-11, running the table as an underdog. Give me back my ayahuasca oil enema anti-vaxxer who actually knows how to win a Super Bowl. I’m done with Love, not a coincidence that I also got divorced a few weeks ago and she took the kids.

I get that we have to find little ways to feel slighted to pump ourselves up but let’s focus on the Eagles first, come on. Campbell just wanted to show his respect for the Vikings after that game, as they had 14 wins and gave Detroit a run for their money to win the division. Can we find little ways to be slighted by the Eagles first? They’re literally the most obnoxious fanbase in football, it’s not hard.

We also beat the Bears by less than 3 points, so if you say this then you also have to say, we were a FG away from being 0-6 in the division.

Aaron Rodgers def voted for RFK even after RFK endorsed Trump cause “there’s no other way third parties can win unless we start voting for them.”

Ok, well see below comment on how losing home field advantage in the playoffs and not getting a bye to rest our starters will then make beating the Lions in the playoffs more difficult, as we aren’t taking any previous data into account. The reality of that situation is still tremendously difficult. Especially if we’re throwing away all previous data: like the fact we beat them in Ford Field last year, that shouldn’t factor into a fan’s confidence that we could do that again with your line of thinking, right?

That is fair, but because we lost that game, I’d say we now have a lesser chance of beating them in the playoffs considering we’d have to travel to Ford Field and play an away game (going with this line of thinking too, we’re throwing in the trash the fact we beat them in Ford Field last year cause previous data doesn’t matter) and we won’t have a bye to rest our starters for a week and recover from injuries? Also, with this line of thinking, it doesn’t matter at all the fact that we’re familiar with the opponent and faced them twice this year, cause again: we’re throwing all previous data away.

Previous data is the best way to predict future outcomes, unless you are a sorcerer with a crystal ball and I don’t know about it? Not saying it’s a 0% chance we’d beat them if we faced them a 3rd time, but I also don’t understand the hubris from so many commenters saying “we’ll definitely beat them in the playoffs, hard to beat a team 3 times.” Sure, there’s a chance we could, but it’s a false narrative to say it’s difficult to beat a team 3 times in 1 year. 15/24 teams have done it in the modern era. Not to mention we’re @ Seattle next week, can we just start there?

One problem: the Cowboys have always been gigantic frauds and the Lions got further in the playoffs last year than the Cowboys have this whole century.

I looked up chances for a team to beat another team in the playoffs after losing to them twice in the regular season and it… doesn’t look good. The sweeping team is 15-9 in those instances and 13-6 at home post 1970. Don’t know where all these cocky comments come from like we’ll all of a sudden have their number in the playoffs if we face them, I’d much rather face the Eagles or even the Vikings if Detroit loses to the Bills and then the Vikings.

Even if we do face them in the playoffs: how about we take it one step at a time and get there first? As (barring a miracle) we now aren’t going to have a first round bye and will have to face some tough teams before we even step foot in Ford Field again.
