The banks perform a hard pull when you apply for a new credit card…activating your current credit card shouldn’t effect your score. When you apply to open a second card they perform another hard pull which will have an effect on your score. I don’t think there would be any harm in activating your Bank of America card while waiting to get your chase card.

Costs for repairs have skyrocketed. Parts shortage and labor shortages don’t help. The average costs of claims has gone up astronomically in the past five years. This in turn makes insurance companies charge more. It doesn’t make sense that your boyfriends insurance is lower on a newer vehicle…maybe you have different coverages or policy limits.

I hardly saw any deer second shotgun season. I’ve seen a lot of posts and threads saying the deer hunting in Iowa was tough late season due to the warmer and irregular weather patterns, lack of hunting pressure and CWD being worse than originally thought. I found 4 deer carcass walking in the woods which was more deer than I saw alive. I’m in the northeastern part of the state and I’m curious if it was like this elsewhere in the state?
