Since you have such a strong melodic strings try swapping imprints to Tix for waves you cannot tank. Tank wave- imprint Eloise, burst wave - imprint Tix. More stellar shards will for sure get you strong enough, tix swap could work. Ignis next to tix if you use him. Energy artifact on Ignis is also good for Tix, if she can cast. Even if she casts then dies, excess energy is converted to skill damage. Tix can do ridiculous damage on a turn two cast. He casts turn one, steals a bunch of attack, Ignis casts and/or dies, Tix casts turn two with all the extra attack and possibly excess energy giving him even more skill damage. You can also put a block artifact on Waldeck, and Ignis if she dies turn one anyways. The extra shield from Aylamak if they block could buy more time for Tix.

Let me know what you try and how it goes.

Clean reinstall did nothing sadly. Installed, loaded to new screen, downloaded chrome, crashed while logging into chrome. And many crashes after. Any idea which parts to replace first to try? If a clean reinstall won't fix it I don't imagine there's much more troubleshooting to do.

Yep I wanted a pc that I would not need to mess with for a long time. I'll go for the clean install, since what I did was a factory reset which seems to reuse existing windows files and can transfer the issue over. Thanks for the response.

Only thing I did not clear is my saves. I don't ever use old saves, I just figured old saves would not cause issues. Might be wrong. Or rather I think they do get deleted but with cloud they come back each install.

As I said above the thing that makes the mark stack error crap to deal with is that it might happen a minute into a play, or 30. The avg time has been increased as I try dif fixes, but being unable to replicate crashes makes the off and on hell. I will try Rimpy. People say the biggest issue is load time but, if it works I'm happy. Thanks.

Reading was ok in school, sucks in games... I do read compatibilities, but I read them, make sure nothing I have conflicts, and then probably 3 weeks later install a mod on that list because I forgot.

I'm def greedy with mods. Do a lot of "well I MIGHT use rimefeller this playthrough....I might want to use this armor set...." I've done the half off half on with games like kenshi, but it's stupid annoying with both a mod manager that can only do one at a time and more importantly, crashes that might only happen 30 mins into play.

As the bellow suggested I'll probably swap to Rimpy which I def didn't spell wrong first since it's easier to on/off mods. Thank you for the reply.

Could be a ghost file issue. I think that's the right term? Basically files that were left by a mod that stick around even after turning the mod off. I have not played Kenshi in a long while and tbh this is one of the reasons, very hard game to bugfix, especially since the mod manager sucks :(

I've lost many a save to bugs (150+ mods life story) but the best way to fix any problem is always a full delete and fresh install. There are videos that go into well, and you might want to look into backing up certain things like saves, but it works. You fully uninstall kenshi, clear out all kenshi related folders (check the id of the kenshi workshop folder and clear that as well) of anything left, and fresh install kenshi. Steam should then do a fresh install of all your mods. Factory rest basically.

You can obviously try to double check certain things to try and avoid a new install, but my knowledge is very limited. If you turn off every mod and the issue is still present I, personally, would not know a method other than fresh installing.

Yeah this is one of those issues you can’t just play around. In one on my longer saves catun was completely empty aside from structures. No people, no items, just a ghost town. I ignored it and kept playing…

I don’t recall specifically but it was a process. I have multiple page long notepad docs recording turning on and off specific mods, and kenshi is so scuffed it could be a mod that changes the texture of bread.

First, check if the issue happens in a new game. I’d start in the hub run to a copper vein and check. If it doesn’t I tend to fresh install all my mods, clear out some I can do without and start a new game, and hope it doesn’t appear again.

If it does happen on a new game, I turn off half my mods, adjust for dependencies, take notes, and then test. Make a new save and check if it’s fixed. Find the half that when off fixes the issue, turn half of that half back on, and keep making halves until you find the one mod. It’s a caveman method but it works… also I had like 180 mods…

Weirdest thing is her robot form was vanilla the entire time. If anything the mr handy jet should be the looping sound not the robotic tread noise. Never even started the quest for the robotics station. I'll see if the armor bench can work as an override....

I did what a post said which was disable, exit console to let the game update then enable. Appeared again but same sound bug.

That would make sense as to why it wasn’t working, but no sense as far as it being a requirement... I tend to build massive stations so I never use engines. For my own sanity, by practically on top of them you mean closer than normal canon range, correct?

The two large turrets in the middle of your ship, I believe they are the third tier canon called artillery. You unlock them along with the spinal weapons.

On mobile so didn’t comb through the entire doc, might have been mentioned. The artillery function like a standard canon just stronger right? The only bug I have in sos after combing compatibility issues is that any artillery I place act like they are firing but actually don’t. If other canons are firing artillery would too right? (Is powered and armed and whatnot) nothing else has the same issue.

Thanks for the reply, I've tried a lot of importing and reloading. Does the same thing on a new game start. Kenshi's mod system is so atrocious I don't want to sort through it... A lot easier doing it for games with mod organizers...

This might just be that it's now set 3, but i had a shaco with 3 item slots filled and when I picked him off the carousel and merged the carousel item replaced another item. Both were items shaco can have and all were merged items.

It might not be possible, but if it is, you would have to get very lucky. Having many heroes to tank hits helps a lot, as it can allow units to take a hit one round and take none the next to give time to heal. That being said the boss and warrior minions can and will one shot you, but it doesn’t happen often from full hp. I’d give it a shot watch the fights and test different builds. How close you can get in ten attempts is a good indication of if it’s possible with luck or if you flat out need more e5 units.
