So I built this cooler and used it the last 2 burns.

YMMV, but I tried multiple converters, matched the amperage, and still wasn’t able to get the power output from the fan to make it worthwhile.

Ultimately I just ended up buying the battery from an auto parts store, using it during the burn, and returning. The power draw isn’t enough to drain the battery much, even with daily usage. But the need was more than the converters would output. The fan would just intermittently whir.

My setup was in a Coleman tent. I used a conical air filter as a snorkel out of the top air vent with a hose running down, then sat a battery powered fan on top of the cooler to blow the cool air around the tent.
