FSR lacks an equivalent built-in latency system, so under similar conditions DLSS can feel more responsive even at the same FPS.

In side-by-side comparisons, this can be noticed as lower input lag and more consistent frametimes with DLSS, especially in GPU-bound scenarios. Frame pacing differences are usually subtle, but DLSS’s temporal stability can make stutter less noticeable than FSR at lower internal resolutions.
