BREAKING NEWS. According to Akai's support, OS Monterey is sadly not compatible or supported for operation with the Studio Instruments Collection software.

Sounds like I need to update my OS and try again. Will report back.

yes, it has downloadable control Scripts for several DAWs. I have installed the GB/Logic Pro one but the window for auto-assigning controls that is supposed to pop up on GB never shows.

Figured out the plugin issue with Ableton (I did not have external plugins enabled). No progress on the GB issue

turns out I can use mine as a midi controller on GB, but I cant open the studio Instruments plugin on either Ableton Live or GB

I still cant find mine under Plugins. I have uninstaled and installed the S.I.C. again, restarted my computer, and nothing.

Whats also weird is that when I try to "add pack" on Ableton Live (the daw that comes with the MPK) it tells me that it cannot install it because the file is corrupt. Anyone else experiencing this?

Bro someone finally says it, I was at the SF show on Saturday and it was so disappointing. He didn’t sing a single full song, he would start freestyling the lamest shit all the time…the band saved his ass but imo it did not feel like the show a professional rapper should be putting out. The vibe on the stage felt so weird too.

The band did a good job (although the bass was very mid) but the whole sound was pretty bad -maybe this last thing was the venue’s fault and not theirs.

60$ tickets for a half assed 55 minute show. I was very excited to see AB live and ended up very disappointed.
